Not just any key, mind you. 

Swords either are blades or have blades, depending on how you wish to look at it. The part of a key that slides into the lock is called a blade.

...there were a number of people who regarded me as very strong, which I did not understand in the slightest. I'd thought of myself as a coward for years.

Of course, it all boiled down to definitions, as it always does. One person said it was my capacity to endure pain, which in his estimation was extraordinary. (Though I am a wuss when it comes to mouth pain.) For some reason, over the course of the next few days, very little wireless worked for me.  On rare occasions I could receive, but only once could I send anything.
